Frequently asked Questions.

The INAIC is a public information resource for Internet users worldwide and we welcome your question and comments. If there are any issues we have not addressed please click here and help us build our FAQ. Contributions from the Internet community are always welcomed. The "Six Most Frequently Asked Questions" are on the main page of the INAIC web site, the rest is displayed here.

What is an accredited TLD Registrar?
There are many TLD Registrars on the Internet. However there are only a few TLD Registrars that are approved and accredited by the Internet Names Authorization & Information Center (INAIC).

The Internet was designed to prevent the centralized control of resources by any group, organization or government. The non accredited TLD Registrars have different views about this. Most of these organizations attempt to gain control over the Internet and run their own root. The Internet can never be controlled or owned by a single organization. Freedom of speech and independency is the biggest success factor of the Internet. TLDs registered through one of these non approved Registrars will most likely not resolve in the Public-Root.

Approved and accredited TLD Registrars are bound to strict policies intended to keep the Internet an open and competitive resource of information. Click here to see the TLD Registrars that are approved and accredited by the INAIC. Please click here to find out how you can become an approved & accredited TLD Registrar for the registration of pTLDs and cTLDs.
