Microsoft Windows NT Manual Upgrade instructions guide users of Microsoft Windows NT operating systems on upgrading their DNS settings to resolve the Next Generation Internet and the Public-Root system.
arrow1arrow arrow Settings -> Network and Dial-Up Connections
arrow2arrow arrow Now that you are in dialup networking, right click on the icon for your connection.
*note: The name may vary from the picture on the left.
arrow3arrow arrow Now, highlight the TCP/IP and click properties.
arrow4arrow arrow Leave the First Box as is, modify the second box controlling DNS.
Make sure that "Use the Following server addresses” are selected.
Enter in the following IP addresses, and or use public DNS servers that are closest to your geographical region.
arrow5arrow   Accept the changes and reboot your computer.When your back online click here to test your configuration.
